Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has responded to criticism after calling for peaceful protests amidst nationwide demonstrations against bad governance

Initially, Daniels faced backlash for her video urging peaceful protests, with some questioning her position to offer advice.

In a new video on her Instagram page, Daniels acknowledged her privileged position but emphasized her ability to empathize with others, including her domestic staff who deserve better pay .

She criticized agitators, stating that Nigeria’s issues cannot be resolved overnight and she doesn’t need to be loved by everyone.

Daniels also shared footage of protesters waving a Russian flag, suggesting the demonstrations were becoming misguided.

Her caption reaffirmed her commitment to a better Nigeria, sparking further discussion in the comments section.

Sadly, you underestimate the limit a hungry and cheated man can go. You probably haven't been hungry, deprived and abused in your life. It's ok. Know this though, nobody thinks or wants Nigeria to be fixed over night. People just want to see sincere efforts from those in charge of their resources. Do you know how much Mr president has spent in just one year in buying jet, fixing deputy's house, fixing other lodges for himself, giving to lawmakers, paying himself subsidy (that he claims has been removed) and so on??? Now, only for him to turn around and tell poor and hungry Nigerians that they should be the ones making the sacrifice of fixing Nigeria??? You think that's fair?? How does your own husband spends his constituency allowances?? With all due respect young lady, if you can't relate with the people's hardship, just be quiet.
