Hackers Take Over Official Facebook Page of Kano Hisbah Board, Post Sensual Contents

The official Facebook page of the Kano Hisbah Board, a religious security organization in Kano State, was recently hacked.

The hackers posted explicit and inappropriate content, causing concern among followers.



The page, which has 63,000 likes and 82,000 followers, was compromised until the incident was confirmed by the Commander General of the Board, Sheikh Aminu Daurawa.

He stated that the situation had been addressed, and measures were being taken to regain control of the page and secure it from future breaches.

 The exact timeline for full recovery of the page was not specified, but the board has assured the public of its commitment to restoring the page to its intended purpose.

“Kano State Hisbah Board is aware that its Facebook page has been hacked and inappropriate things are being shared. On behalf of the board, I call on people to help solve this problem.”
