Well the first time i went Nigeria I felt sorry for the people living there. The second time I understood that if your rich you haven't got no problems except for the armed robbers. The grass ain't greener on the other side but it is another side of grass to try your luck on. I was born and bred in the uk but i have lived in Nigeria and as much as I love it I have no intention of living there. This is home for me and if your comfortable in Nigeria don't up and move abroad because your going to be a bottom feeder here. At the same time there are a lot of successful Nigerians who made it here and are planning to build companies in Nigeria. My father being one of them. In these cases the ends justify the means.

Hon if were born in the UK and brought up there, of course that's going to be your home... and you've probably got family with you too, so who are you going to be with in Naija? But you are right, if you've got the means Nigeria can be a fun place...

I never had a choice....my parents told me 8 yrs ago that we were moving. The funny thing is that we were more comfortable in Naija as opposed to here, in terms of my parent's jobs and stuff BUT the reason my parents decided to move was for the children to have a better education and a better life, I guess. And armed robbers dealt with popsy since he was always buying cars (his obssession) and they kept stealing from him on Third Mainland Bridge. So, my dear I was not looking for an opportunity to leave Naija at all. where else would u get househelps and drivers to cater to all your needs. Geez, that was life men...big time

Thats the thing though people who are comfortable abroad go home and brag to those suffering filling their heads with tales that are true but without telling them all the hardship it took for them to get there.

You're right..but for some who never get to go through such hardships and never experienced it, thats all they can do is talk about the good part cause thats all they've known..

I know Naija would be a great place to retire if not for them damn armed robbers. Not to mention less successful family members plotting against you.
