The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for Edo State, Monday Okpebholo, has become a trending topic on social media after a verbal blunder during a recent campaign rally.

While addressing a crowd of supporters, Okpebholo mistakenly pledged to provide Edo indigenes with "insecurity," a remark that immediately caught attention. The slip of the tongue quickly went viral, drawing reactions across various platforms.

Former Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, who stood beside Okpebholo during the speech, swiftly responded to the gaffe by tapping him, likely in an attempt to correct the mistake.
