Lagos Police Arrest Two Suspected Drug Dealers With 120 Pellets Of Cocaine

The Lagos State Police Command has apprehended two men suspected of drug trafficking, seizing 120 pellets of a substance believed to be cocaine.

In a statement issued on Friday, September 20, 2024, Police Public Relations Officer SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the arrest, which took place in the Ojo area of Lagos. Acting on a tip-off, officers detained the suspects, identified as Sunday Nwabufor, 47, from Festac, and Obinna Nweke, 45, from Ketu Mile 12.

The arrest occurred on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at approximately 2:00 p.m. "The suspects were found in possession of 120 wraps of a substance suspected to be cocaine," Hundeyin revealed.

The Lagos Police Command has launched an investigation to determine the full extent of the suspects' involvement in drug trafficking operations across the state.
