Rabiu Kwankwaso, the National Leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has reaffirmed his commitment to rescuing Nigeria from its economic challenges by 2027. Speaking during a recent visit to the Osun State party Secretariat in Osogbo, Kwankwaso outlined the party's strategy to strengthen its state branches in anticipation of a robust challenge against the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming elections.
Kwankwaso emphasized the necessity of revitalizing state chapters to ensure efficient governance. He was represented by a three-person delegation led by Dr. Rahila Mukhtar, who conveyed the NNPP's determination to remain focused as a viable opposition party.
In a statement from the State Party Chairman, Dr. Tosin Odeyemi, Kwankwaso expressed optimism about reports from various states, particularly Osun, highlighting the NNPP's readiness to confront the difficulties leading up to 2027. "Nigerians have begun to see through the tactics of leaders who exploit poverty to manipulate citizens. Our goal is not to deceive but to truly rescue our nation from its current challenges," he stated.
He also revealed plans to mobilize support across the country, enhance state secretariats, and provide vehicles to facilitate operations.
Dr. Odeyemi praised Kwankwaso for prioritizing the welfare of the people and committed to making the NNPP an appealing choice for citizens in Osun. He commended his team, including Dr. Muhammad Khalil and Alhaji Abdusalam Abdulateef, for their dedication to the party's mission to uplift Nigeria.
