I used to think i will put my spouse but i have changed my mind, my children will surely be my next of kin.

Why the change of mind? 4give my probe, I just want to learn........ Smiley

God forbid anything happens and she is till young, its your assets (finance) she will contribute in her new home (if she decides to remarry) cos there is no way she will be with her partner and the man is in need that she will not want to assist or probably bringing the man into the house you sweat to build. God forbid

Do u mind what she does after your demise? Afterall, she's d one who'll take care of the kids.....just wondering

This is a very sensitive issue, some of us are just taking it for granted because we are myopic abt the future. Well i would rather have my children as my next of kin for the safety of thier future. Remember, we are in a world where peoples heart are desperately wicked. Hence, my children would be better. that's my blood.

Hmmmmm.....u have a point there dearie...but here, we ain't disclosing anything! I may make u my next-of-kin but may not let u know what & what u should expect! I may be secretive about some sensitive information. Moreso, don't u think it's always nice for your next-of-kin to know little details? I've seen a situation where somebody's entitlements were grounded because no one came forth to claim it! Perhaps no one knew he had such entitlements!
Dear, its stil very sensitive in d sense that when you say my wife/husband is my next of kin is a straight answer....what is important is to make d family know things abt himself like d coy whr he work, the bank(s) he uses and other businesses u might be involve wit so that in case anything happens the family can go there and tell them they are frm d late mr John family, frm there they will source for his datas and find out who his next of kin is... if nt is risky to let them knw when stil alive cos it can even bring problem among children...most expectingly d polygamous home.
