A Nigerian man, Iwuala Nnamdi Paulcy, has narrated how a friend died of kidney failure due to a lack of money for his treatment.
According to him, the deceased's family owns three properties in choice areas of Owerri but they “found it difficult” to sell one of them in order to raise money for his treatment.
“I watched a friend die of kidney failure, the family have a property in Douglas and prefab plus where they are staying in Spibat, he kept begging for money till he died and he is the first son, they are only 4, the family found it hard to sell one of their property to help him, Sad,” he wrote.
"When you have a family that would watch you suffer when you know they have means to uplift your suffering is the most devilish thing to do,
They’ll always blame you that oo, why didn’t you make it yourself forgetting races aren’t the same, the same family preaches to you about Christ, but they’ll never give you a helping hand,
"They’ll compare you to your mates and how successful you are and when you start doing the things your mates are doing they’ll rebuke you that are a ritualist or that your a thief,
“And you begin to wonder what Christ are they even preaching to you about in the first place.”
