Bolaji Henry Akinduro, a prominent figure in the oil industry and executive chairman of Total Grace Oil and Gas Investment Limited, has been declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for alleged fraud. The announcement came in a special circular issued on Friday, which detailed the charges against him.

According to the EFCC, Akinduro, 51, is wanted for obtaining money under false pretenses and committing theft through conversion. The commission highlighted that Akinduro gained notoriety in 2021 when he claimed to have launched his multi-million naira enterprise with just N50,000. His company, Total Grace Oil and Gas Investment Limited, is headquartered in Dubai and operates approximately five filling stations across Nigeria.

The EFCC's statement read: “The public is hereby notified that BOLAJI HENRY AKINDURO, whose photograph appears above, is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in an alleged case of Obtaining Money under False Pretenses and Stealing by Conversion.” The circular also provided details of his last known residence, located at 272 Patience Coker Street, Ajose Adeogun, Victoria Island, Lagos State.

The commission urged anyone with relevant information regarding Akinduro’s whereabouts to reach out through its various state offices or by contacting them directly at 08093322644. They also encouraged the public to report to the nearest police station or security agency.

In a related development, the EFCC also announced that another individual, Sunday Peter Adu, is wanted for similar offenses. Adu, 46, hails from Delta State and was last known to reside at 154 Ipaja Road, Baruwa, Alimosho, Lagos State. The EFCC's statement on Adu echoed the same call for public assistance in locating him.

The EFCC continues its efforts to combat financial crimes and fraud in Nigeria, urging citizens to assist in bringing alleged offenders to justice.
