Embattled American rapper, Sean “Diddy” Combs celebrated his 55th birthday behind bars due to the sex trafficking allegations against him.
Sean 'Diddy' Combs Celebrates His Birthday In Prison As He Turns 55 Behind Bars
Diddy marked his 55th birthday on Monday, November 4, just weeks after his lawyer described the jail food as “the roughest part” of his detention.
The rapper, who was arrested on September 16 by Homeland Security agents, is spending his birthday in the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center.
According to sources, his birthday meals are a far cry from the luxury he’s used to.
For breakfast at 6 a.m., Diddy reportedly had biscuits and gravy, oven-browned potatoes, bread, and oatmeal.
Lunch at 11 a.m. includes cheese pizza, Italian pasta salad, and green beans. Dinner at 4 p.m. offers chicken or tofu fried rice with black beans and carrots.
Diddy’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, told the “New York Post “that “the food’s probably the roughest part” of Diddy’s time in jail.
The rapper’s team has tried to secure his release multiple times, citing poor jail conditions, but his bail has been repeatedly denied. Prosecutors argue that he is a flight risk and could attempt to influence witnesses.
Agnifilo stated that Diddy insists he is innocent and won’t consider a plea deal. He believes he’s being targeted as part of a “racially motivated prosecution” and aims to fight the charges not only for himself but for others in similar situations.
Diddy’s legal team recently requested a judge to impose a gag order on grand jury witnesses, especially one individual who has been speaking publicly about the rapper’s alleged sex tapes.
The lawyers filed a motion for a gag order to restrict public statements from witnesses and their lawyers. They singled out Courtney Burgess, who recently spoke out, claiming he has or has seen footage of Diddy “victimizing” at least eight celebrities.
The rapper’s legal team called these claims false and defamatory, accusing the government of encouraging conspiracies by not addressing Burgess’s alleged “extortion scam.”
Burgess claims the footage originated from a flash drive belonging to Diddy’s late ex, Kim Porter, who allegedly captured the videos with hidden cameras.
During a recent appearance on “Banfield” on NewsNation, he said the tapes show at least two underage male celebrities who seemed intoxicated and could be Diddy’s victims.
TMZ reports that federal prosecutors have subpoenaed Burgess for any evidence, including thumb drives or devices containing videos or files related to Diddy.
Meanwhile, a copy of a nondisclosure agreement (NDA) used by Diddy has surfaced. The document reportedly requires guests at his gatherings to agree not to disclose details about him or his associates.
Attendees are banned from taking photos or videos without written consent and restricted from sharing images on specific social media platforms.
The NDA is said to last for Diddy’s lifetime plus 20 years after his death or a total of 70 years, whichever is longer.
KanyiDaily recalls that a New York court recently ruled that Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs will remain in jail as his sex trafficking trial is set to begin on May 5, 2025.
