Controversial Human rights activist, Aisha Yesufu, has claimed that the Peoples Democratic Party had lost its opposition power since 2014.
Gistmania reports that Aisha’s statement is coming, following a claim made by a PDP’s Chieftain, Segun Sowunmi, who said that the party have been destroyed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Sowunmi noted that Tinubu had no business appointing Nyesom Wike as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, without consulting with the elders of the opposition party.
Speaking on her X page over the weekend, Aisha, in her response to Mr. Sowunmi’s claim, said that PDP had lost the privilege to govern Nigerians due to mismanagement of political power.
She added that the major opposition party treated people like leper, thinking they were untouchable.
Aisha said: “The same PDP we were attacked for is the PDP you now know is destroyed?
“PDP was destroyed since 2014! They believed they were untouchable and treated Nigerians like lepers.
“Anyway na when person wake up be im morning. Let me repeat! PDP is a threat to opposition.”
