Five members of a family at Dabwa village, Kaduna Vom district of Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State were yesterday morning killed, while a little girl, believed to be the last child was wounded. Daily Sun gathered that nothing was removed from the house of the family head, whose name was given as John Davou. John Davou was killed together with his wife, Esther; son, John, and two daughters, Salomi and Matha in cold blood by the gunmen who invaded their house. Confirming the incident, the Plateau State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Abdurrahman Akano, said the attack was not part of the Jos crisis but a criminal act committed by people with bad intentions who capitalized on the situation in the state. He regretted the spate of crimes in the state, adding that; “Jos crisis has got to a stage where people are now taking advantage of it. Many crimes are now being committed in the name of Jos crisis; I think we must begin to talk to people about it as a form of enlightenment.”
The commissioner of police also warned motorcycles riders to be mindful of their passengers because “by all indications the people killing their colleagues and taking away their motorcycles in and around Jos are those that knew them very well. “Those snatching their motorcycles are not from the opposite side, they are people who can speak the same language with them. It is clear that if you are not from my area, I will not trust you and if you ask me to take you somewhere I may not go, but if you speak the same tongue with me, I can easily be convinced and follow you. That is how it all happened.”
The commissioner of police disclosed that the corpse of a boy was found behind a school along Zaria Road. He said: “The information we got was that the boy used to leave his home by 8a.m. in the morning everyday, but that fateful day, he left as early as 5.00a.m.; indicating that whoever asked him out of his bed at that time must be known to him.” The commissioner said the crimes were similar in nature, “I am not investigating them as part of the Jos crisis but as crime.” He, however, confirmed that no arrest had been made in connection with the five people that were murdered.

with those Abokis heading virtually all the security institutions in the country, they will never be ready to stop this as they are all part of their so called Northern agenda. I just pity those innocent victims, the end is nowhere near now, sorry to say this
