EFCC Arrests 24 Suspected Internet Fraudsters In Lokoja (Photos)

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have apprehended 24 individuals suspected of involvement in internet fraud. The arrests took place on Friday, December 6, 2024, in Lokoja, Kogi State, following credible intelligence about their suspected activities in internet-related crimes.  

Among the items recovered during the operation were 30 mobile phones, six laptops, and three vehicles, which are believed to be linked to their illicit operations.  

The suspects are currently in custody, and the EFCC has confirmed that they will be charged in court once investigations are concluded. The latest arrests underscore the ongoing efforts by the EFCC to combat internet fraud and other financial crimes across the country.
