Katsina State security personnel have successfully rescued six girls who were abducted by armed bandits in the Walawa community, located in Sukuntuni district of Kankia Local Government Area.
The daring operation was confirmed on Saturday, December 21, 2024, by renowned crisis and conflict journalist, Bakatsine. According to his report, members of the Katsina Community Watch Corp (CWC) carried out a strategic ambush on the bandits' hideout, effectively securing the safe return of the victims.
