Stan Alieke, the lawyer representing Speed Darlington, has publicly challenged Burna Boy to take similar action against socialite Cubana Chief Priest, as he did with Darlington, following a war of words between the two.

The conflict between Burna Boy and Cubana Chief Priest escalated after the Grammy-winning singer made a post that many believed was aimed at the socialite, a close associate of rival musician Davido. Burna Boy referred to Chief Priest as ‘Owerri Rick Ross’ in his online post, sparking an immediate response from Cubana Chief Priest.

The socialite retaliated by posting on his own page, referencing Burna Boy’s Grammy win and jokingly attributing it to the influence of Diddy. He wrote, “Diddy oil the fastest way to PTSD. You never see anything, you and your bend down collect Grammy.”

In response to the unfolding drama, Speed Darlington’s lawyer, Stan Alieke, has now called on Burna Boy to take action against Cubana Chief Priest, suggesting that he should pursue a police complaint as he did with Darlington. Alieke pointed out the irony of Burna Boy’s selective response to the situation.

"Your petition claims that the Diddy and baby oil banter has caused 'irreparable damage to your international reputation and has made you lose a lot of gigs,'" Alieke noted. "Another person with more reach and influence has now referenced the same banter, so the world expects you to take action and arrest him too. If not, people will see it as cowardice."

Alieke also emphasized his desire for justice, stating, “I’m just a lawyer that wants justice to go round.”

The ongoing tension follows previous incidents where Speed Darlington, also known as Akpi, was arrested twice by Burna Boy on allegations of cyberstalking.
