
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested another suspect, Lawal Idris Olasunkanmi, with 55 kilograms of skunk during a targeted raid in the Mushin area of Lagos.
The operation, which took place on Wednesday, January 29, was part of the agency’s intensified crackdown on drug trafficking in the state. NDLEA operatives stormed Olasunkanmi’s base following intelligence reports, leading to his arrest and the confiscation of the illicit substance.
Officials confirmed that the suspect is currently in custody, and investigations are ongoing to uncover his supply network and other possible accomplices. The NDLEA reiterated its commitment to dismantling drug syndicates and curbing the spread of narcotics across the country.
