Priscilla Ojo, daughter of renowned Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo, has addressed the backlash surrounding her father, Ademidun Ojo’s, absence at her wedding.
It is reported that Priscilla tied the knot with her lover, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, in an Islamic ceremony in Tanzania on Friday. However, her father’s absence fueled speculation of a strained relationship, with many accusing her of deliberately excluding him from her wedding plans.
Ademidun Ojo’s absence also reignited discussions about his past relationship with Iyabo Ojo, with some linking it to lingering family tensions.
In response to the criticisms, Priscilla took to her Snapchat story on Sunday evening to share a screenshot of a video call with her father, seemingly dispelling rumors of a rift.
Recall that in a 2023 interview with media personality Toke Makinwa, Iyabo Ojo had described her marriage to Ademidun as her first experience with poverty, a statement that further fueled public interest in their family dynamics.
