Girl Left With Welts After Her Mother Allegedly Beat Her For Not Knowing How To Count In Ondo

A mother allegedly b3.at up her nursery-school-aged daughter for not knowing how to count from 1 to 20.

The mother, who lives in Ondo State, is alleged to have used a wooden spatula to b3.at the girl all over her body, leaving her with welts on her face, neck and arms. She also had blood stains on her dress.

A neighbour shared photos of the injured girl on Facebook and called on NGOs to intervene.

You are nothing but a witch! A homebreaker and a destroyer! You should have gone into the home and rescue the girl and counsel the parents, that is what good neighbors do. I am sure you monitor the parents and was sure they were not with the kid before taking this picture. Thank God the child belong to the mother and it is not a question of starving her. Mind your business if you cannot genuinely help.
