A Nigerian man residing in Middlesbrough, UK, has issued a cautionary warning after being targeted in a brazen daylight robbery.
In a video shared on TikTok, the victim recounted how a group of young thieves on bicycles snatched his headphones while he was walking down the street. However, he refused to let them get away easily, using what he described as his "Nigerian instincts" to track them down and reclaim his stolen item.
“I was just attacked by some boys on the streets of Middlesbrough. I’m making this video to warn everyone to be careful,” he said.
According to him, after the gang made their getaway, he anticipated their route, took a shortcut, and confronted them. In a shocking twist, the thieves allegedly brandished a crossbow in an attempt to scare him off, but he stood his ground and successfully retrieved his belongings.
The video has since sparked widespread reactions online, with many users praising his bravery while others cautioned against taking such risks.
