A Nigerian man has been arrested after allegedly stabbing his girlfriend in the stomach with a knife in Lagos State. 

A disturbing video of the incident, which has gone viral on X (formerly Twitter), captures the immediate aftermath. The footage shows the victim sitting on the ground, struggling to breathe, while distressed onlookers scream in shock. 

The suspect, appearing remorseful, is seen covering his face as bystanders hold him firmly by the trousers to prevent his escape. 

The video’s circulation has sparked widespread reactions online, with many social media users expressing concern over the rising cases of domestic violence and calling for justice for the victim. 

Authorities have yet to release an official statement on the incident, but reports indicate that the suspect is now in police custody as investigations continue.
