Real Madrid’s goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, is facing serious accusations from Elsa Izac, a former Versace designer who claims to be the mother of his seven-year-old son, Enzo. Izac alleges that while Courtois leads an extravagant lifestyle, she and their child are struggling to keep a roof over their heads.
Izac, 50, currently resides in a £3 million property in Wimbledon but says she’s fallen behind on mortgage payments, reportedly owing £63,000. She further revealed that the house has become unlivable due to severe damp and mould problems.
“Our home is falling apart. We can’t keep living like this,” she told The Sun, as cited by Daily Mail.
The pair allegedly had a brief relationship after Courtois moved next door following his transfer to Chelsea in 2014. Although a court order in 2020 mandated Courtois to pay child support, Izac claims the payments are insufficient to cover their living expenses.
“I live in fear that the bank will take our home. Every knock on the door makes me anxious — I don’t want us to end up on the street,” she said.
Izac also criticized Courtois’ lavish spending, highlighting his frequent use of private jets and luxury yacht trips.
“It’s hard to watch Thibaut fly on private jets and party on yachts while his son is left living in these conditions. Surely, he can do more for his child,” she remarked.
Courtois, 32, who is currently recovering from a knee injury, has not publicly addressed the allegations. He recently welcomed a daughter with his wife, Mishel Gerzig, and has two other children from a previous relationship.
