Why do people think women should or should not be allowed to be ministers?

Because the world culturally and religiously has labeled women as being inferior spiritual beings.  Women belong to God and anything that belongs to God can be used by Him.  If God has called you to do His bid, then do not shy away because of the culture you are in, submit yourself to His complete will, because if you back down  and refuse because of men, then it is man you worship and not God.

The answer to ur question is not far fetched..We are living in a dictatorship world..A patriarchy culture system..A world where the man is the boss and nothing else..A world were God and anything good is the Man..If you don't understand me, let me break myself down..

When human deny their spiritual self for their material need, what they are doing is called self hate..We are living in a world where people have no respect and honor for themselves..In this our new world, every one want to become an hero and God child..Homosegxwal mentality..

Now you understand why women are seen as evil and inferior..When people live in self hate, subconsciously what they saying is, my soul or spirit is evil..Everything we see in this physicalness is a reflection of our thought..Thus u now understand why God hate the women..We human love this world more than we love ourselves..Women is the true reflection of the spirit or soul and that we hate..

lol I never know that Paul words are the Lord's authority. Persons should go and read their bibles and know the truth stop talking after others. In the Old Testament women were used by the TRUE and LIVING GOD to do His work. Prophetess Deborah, Esther and Ruth to name a few. It is Paul who said that women should keep their mouth shut. It was not the AUTHORITY of the WORKS OF GOD through His son Jesus Christ. Else it would mean that God is contrary after what He shown in the Old Testament of His usage of women. There are WEAK amongst the MALE as well. Look at Esau he give up his birthright for FOOD. Paul and Peter classified Female as being weak. Show us where in the Old Testament that God called the Women folks weak. In the Garden of Eden Adam also shown weakness. Weakness has nothing to do with the Gender. It is for the individual to know his/her strength. The Lord send Moses. Aaron and Miriam to be there for the children of Israel. A WOMAN was in the midst. Peter himself was weak as well, he denied Christ and go to transgress again.

I was called and ordained as a Prophetess. Are you saying that I am weak. lol lol I am stronger than my Bishop and now he is even afford to be in my company because of the FAITH I displayed. Persons who cannot read the Bible Spiritually and depending on their lying Bible teachers will always OPPOSE to women inside of the Churches. Always remember that Eve was formed from Adam and both as the same strength. The difference is Christ who lives within us. Hugs and blessings

Those people simply follow what is written in the Bible. Others twist and turn it to fit their motive or agenda. Same way preachers quote scripture to extract more money from their congregations.
