kaluidima at 3-04-2011 12:46 PM (14 years ago) (m) It's ridiculous and senseless to announce the postponement of election that took several months in planning on the day of the election. Does it mean the Professor was not coordinating with his commissioners on daily, weekly or monthly basis to know that INEC was not ready? It is unprofessional and shows gross ineptitude that the professor has the face to apologise to Nigerians on the day the election was suppose to take place. This is another way of celebrating waste in our country. Think about money Nigeria has lost because of actions of some few morons, markets were close, businesses closed, the president took a trip to his village with his entourage on tax payers account and same will be repeated on Monday. What a colossal waste. If we can't get it right by now, I don't know when we would, even with a professor. Posted: at 3-04-2011 12:46 PM (14 years ago) | Newbie | |

Chizze at 3-04-2011 05:23 PM (14 years ago) (m) Nigeria has been on stand still since thursday last week. What a shame to the INEC leadership. Bytheway, why wasting the time to conduct elections when in actuality the result of winners is already submited. Sorry but the country needs heavenly interventions. Peradventure, we asked for independence premature. We could be better off in the hands of foriegn leadership till we grow up enough to manage our country. How could a country with such bad economic standing promote louse-around days just for elections. Where does the country borrow the election models from? Just look at how many political parties exist in naija. Fine and well, but people like Buhari should be serving as economic advisers, to give back to the country they were unable to salvage from economic woes. The ex.police DIG should serve as homeland security minister knowing what he knows. Nigeria does not need hand-changing in govt., we need visionaries to embrace the situation in Nigeria and input productive advice /solutions to our problems. Biafran at 4-04-2011 08:42 AM (14 years ago) (m) I want to tell us Nigerian people that the Govt, and Jega has failed the people and i must say thats there must be rigging in the election, and its time to save our nation, from these evil people holding it to ransome, Now they will see what the Niegerian youths if only they will come together and fight for a better tomorrow, so we must not tolerate them else they all will govern themselves. NIGERIA MUST BE FREE, i know that Nigerian youths are not cowards, but they must stand up for themselves.
