The people of Anuruso, a farming community in the Asante Akyim North district in the Ashanti region, are scheduled to witness a stunning wedding ceremony between a man believed to be in his mid-thirties and a sheep. Salifu abdallah, who shocked residents of the small farming community when he was caught red-handed having sex with a pregnant sheep about two weeks ago, has been ordered to marry the sheep. The owner of the sheep, called Rasheed, has reportedly isseud a one-week ultimatum to the suspect to pay the animal's dowry or risk paying GHc1000 as compensation for his unthinkable behaviour.
