i had a fight with my girlfriend last night.reason was becos i have come to realise she's getting so used to keeping late curfews,and it has become a habit. when we met she used to demand i took her back home (cos she stays with her family) b4 7:30pm anytime we hang out, but recently she's lost that curfew conciousness; something that i once admired in her. it made me long for her and savor every single mintute we spent together. last night she called at about 6:50 and said she was come over to visit. she didnt surface till about 7:35pm,and she started acting like we had the whole night to ourselves. i demanded to knw why she suddeny cared less about getting back home in time,and she said she's a big girl,and she's free to make any kinda decision for her self. i totally slammed her idea.and thats how the fight ensued. i think being a big a big boy or girl dosent give us the leverage to do the wrong things and be comfortable with it. Obviously the evening had already turned sour,and i demanded to take her home. she disagreed,and the fight went on until i had to lock myself in my room.after she'd knocked for a while,she left. i called her later last night to appolgise, but she never picked up my calls.i felt bad about my approach to the whole thing,but i guess i was pushed too far.did i do something wrong pple?

u are dead ass wrong....WTF, are u her father or boyfriend.... u act like she's 5 or something , so she had a curfew when u started dating, but now she obviously trusts you to be around you longer cuz she knows she's SAFE.....
i agree with your girlfriend, she's a grown ass woman and can do as she please and damn well do it with ease....

i sincerely do appreciate all ur responses pple. i have appologised to her last night,and she did forgive me. i thot i was doing the right thing, but now i have to be more flexible with her.

i'm impressed by that,u seem to be a very decent guy cuz most guys in ur shoes will savor the moment to the fullest...u did the right thing dear maybe u were a little bit harsh but if she's a decent lady she'll look beyond ur manner of approach and know u mean well...keep it up guy but please dont be domineering cuz it doesnt work...best of luck

its a good thing that you tried to remind her of what she used to do which made you attracted to her...but maybe d locking yourself in ur room part was not d best approach to use...dat was kinda childish...no matter what try and resolve pbs with your partner before you leave each other's company....well try and apologise to her..and then when u guys r back on, just bring up the topic on a random day..and talk about it..i dint say SHOUT AT EACH OTHER IN ATTEMPT TO MAKE THE OTHER LISTEN/HEAR or INSULT each other....i said TALK.

U did nothing wrong. Descent guys like u are hard to find. She appreciates ur company, which is y she wanted to stay longer. Discussing the issue without slamming would have been better though.
