Nigeria Politics: Nasir El-Rufai Arrested In Abuja Over Presentation

The Former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Malam Nasir El-Rufai this morning  was arrested by officers  of the State Security Service (SSS).


The SSS arrested El-Rufai at about around 6.30 am at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja .

El-Rufai  published his own arrest  on Twitter, a social network before his battery went wrote the following  at about 8am.

“Got detained by the SSS on arrival at Abuja Airport. No reason given. On our way to the Headqurters. Will keep you posted if phones not seized”

‘We have arrived safely at SSS HQ. They are polite and courteous, so far…’

”Taken up three floors to see the DG. He was my director of security in FCT, 2003…decent man then, will soon know if fresh air has got him.’

‘Phone battery going down…no tweets until i charge….sorry guys, ladies..’

al rufai what u did to me and all fellow abuja reidence will never forgoten for the rest of my life i am a victim of three times shop demolitions you pay for your past evils i don't wish you and your family any good. am still in the mass you put me through..........
