i thought that this force has been stop for extorsion of money from the drivers, ok now they have killed an innocent woman, i think the government is aware of it because both the police and the driver should be punish accordingly because if the police did not request for the money all this would have not happened better still if the driver would have given the money to the police all this would have not happened anyway rest in peace, i prayed that justice should take it cause

It baffles me always, when too many Nigerians don't care for straight justice; always sharing fault to every man around scene, lacking the courage to point at the offender even when it is so plain. Police forced the driver to kill. Why do you think it wise to blame driver for daring to escape the illegal extortion, that driver should av given #20.00 to appease police, when they av left police work to abuse the masses-driver and the pregnant victim?  Huh? Huh?
Here is the highest problem for justice in Nigeria for poor masses. A heart failure for fervent Nigerian optimist on police misconduct. Empowerment to corruption and dehumanization of the country.  Why not say the truth and leave it it to flow ??
Defending Nigerian police directly or indirectly will never do anybody good as long as Nigerian police is concern. Nigerian police is bad dream for the poor Nigerian masses and everybody in general. To kill the citizens with less care and style has gone to the extent of doing it in the public and looking for dubious means to use the driver and cover it up. Imagine the threat they must av mustered to the driver that made him loose control.
The truth remains that the driver did not kill anybody--his hand is clean of the innocent blood shed by Nigerian police in style. Even if the driver had paid that illegal#20.00, police must av used another person to kill whoever that block their way as much as they could care to meet the day for their 'Oga' in the office, or else they face their illegal salient music. Nobody should blame the driver for refusing to bribe and daring to escape police wrath for not giving bribe. ONLY JUSTICE CAN SAVE SITUATION in NIGERIA------LET IT SHINE--------      Cool Cool Cool

The problem is far beyond what we see on the streets.

Even the Policemen on the streets are under immense pressure from their bosses to make "Returns".

The "Ogas" sit in the comfort of their offices and set targets for the "boys" on patrol.
Depending on the area your unit is assigned to patrol, returns could be as high as
10,000 Naira (Ten Thousand Naira) per week from each member of the patrol team.

Those who fail to meet the weekly "Returns" target would be cleverly purnished by either
sending them to some irrelevant and expensive self-sponsored courses. Or by posting them
to serve as guards at the CP's (Commissioner of Police) gate.

A society where the poor/ordinary person can't afford justice,.... God Save 9ja!

U painted a very disturbing picture of 9ja police. If true then they are worse than d criminals they are supposed 2 fight against. Urgent purge of dis disgraceful force is much needed.

Hi there, Speaking of death prediction, I find it really odd that one of the on-line death prediction services showed me the same death date that I was foretold in my dream about a year ago. http://yourdeathdate.info/1/index.html - I can’t explain this coincidence in any other way except that there must be some kind of magic involved here.

The discussion of the ways in which one`s death date can effectively be predicted has recently been rapidly spreading over the net. A few months ago one priest filed suit against a the site http://yourdeathdate.info when this site predicted that his death was only a year away. What got him especially worried was the fact that just about seven months before that his colleague had taken the same test and died exactly on the predicted date. Sad but true.
