LOCAL AIRLINES HIKE FARE

Local Airline Operators on Saturday increased  fares by over 50 per cent due to scarcity and hike in the pump price of aviation fuel which now sells N190 per litre.
A one-way ticket that used to cost about N24, 000 is now N36, 000.
The increase mostly applies to busy routes like Lagos-Abuja and Lagos-Port Harcourt.
