There has been some rioting in London, over the extra-judicial execution of man named Mark Duggan. There have been rioting and looking in areas such as tottenham, croydon, peckham, woolich, ealing broadway and waltham abbey.
With all these so called riots someone would expect some casualties, but surprisingly no one has been killed so far, only about 20 police men were sent to hospital for minor injuries and 225 youths have been arrested. As usual the British media are blowing the incident to the highest possible level, whereby in Nigeria we get thousands of (fatal) casualties for each riot war. Here are some videos of the riots:
As at the time of writing this article, a large fire was set on sony distribution center in essex (i guess these rioters got eyes on the top brands)
I specialize in investigative reportage across several subject matter and sectors but mainly focus on metro events and investigation. Do leave your thoughts and opinion on my reports to let me know what you think about them. Thank you

It is not just in London. It has spread to Birmingham, Liverpool and now Bristol. This is not just riots as people are using the opportunity to get good shoes, LCD TVs, Jewelries, etc from shops. Tell President Goodluck Jonathan to be alert because if this continue to spread across the country then Nigerians need to be evacuated sharply.

It's good to write stories, but do you always have to compare Nigeria with every country you write article about?
Secondly, these little boys are only looters, and not in anyway a hard-core extremists in Nigeria that only understand a show of force.
If you were in the Police, you'd understand what it means to face a crowd of angry mob, and a crowd of hungry mob.
Good. These riots were as a result of deep-seated resentment of perceived police racism, youth unemployment and injustice in the system with cuts in social welfare and many more. It only needed a catalyst to ignite it and that was the fatal shooting of a suspect by police.

No one has mentioned Nigerians in the riot or looting. People had learnt to stay out of trouble. The situation is but a fail policy of the ruling power. Perceived power granted to the law enforcement, that at any slighted opportunity they unleash terror policing on the people: as in the case of the father of four that was shot dead. In the UK at any given chance your right as a citizen is truncated that is why you can see the anger and frustration of the people.
