Whoever claimed such a thing? Again, please refresh your knowledge. We have a very good idea when the sun will reach the end of it's cycle as a yellow sun. As we all know, we're dependant on the radiation (yes, radiation) of the sun for life on this particular planet. So when the sun reaches the end of it's cycle, so will life as we know it here. But don't hold your breath! We're talking about 5 billion years from now. But this is all off-topic, of course. The events in Japan this years have given scientists the opportunity to observe, record and now study such movement and it's worth looking up. The world spinning on forever? Whoever claimed such a thing? Again, please refresh your knowledge. We have a very good idea when the sun will reach the end of it's cycle as a yellow sun. As we all know, we're dependant on the radiation (yes, radiation) of the sun for life on this particular planet. So when the sun reaches the end of it's cycle, so will life as we know it here.
