Shocked The attack on UN in Abuja today will not come as a surprise to all discerning people who can gauge the pulse of the Nigerian power play. It is evident that this is an affirmation of the threat to make Nigeria ungovernable as threatened by people supposed elder statesmen of Nigeria. The ploy is clear create enough scare to entrap President Jonnathan to consider amnesty for Boko Haram. Or perhaps otherwise grant them an ascendant right to rule Nigeria forever in exclusion of all else?

Embarrassed Was it General Ibrahim Banbangida, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar or General Muhamadu Buhari who indicated to make Nigeria ungovernable if the Presidency of Nigeria should vacate the North in 2011? Was that a spirit-led prediction? Was that drinking deep from the wine of apprehension for legitimate power change? Did some Honourable members of the Nigerian Legislature not move for amnesty for Boko Haram? was that an abuse of authority or a display of authoritharian insomnia?

Angry The trap shall have its catch but it will not be our president, Goodluck Jonathan. More than ever before, the attack on UN makes it imperative to for Boko Haram to be consigned permanently to dustbins of history. This is no longer peasants bombs attacking police stations in the north. Now we have massive explosives crafted into cars, maned by death seekers, pursuing the innocent blood of the Nigerian people and set to decimate the soul the international society propagating global well being. Now is when to jump clear of the trap that is set to be the undoing of President Goodluck Jonathan.

Angry The course of action now stretches far beyond beyond political will. President Goodluck Jonathan must be the president of all Nigerians as we have made him. Whoever wants to exclude himself from Nigeria should be happy to commit suicide where he dies alone and not drag us all to the hades of collective greed in the climes of some elitist, power-drunken bigots.

The GEJ must be a fool if the so-called northern gurus like IBB, AA & GMB can sponsor all these stupidities in Nigeria and him being the President with all powers vested on him cannot touch them. I cannot accept that. Haba! Is he that weak? Or are we anly telling the world our selfish opinions just to change people's way of thinking? President is a president and he is above everyone in the country. He has the power to order the arrest and prosecution of whoever is responsible for such atrocities. If he cannot handle them, then he cannot handle Nigeria.

I strongly believe if there is any reliable security report connecting these people with any of the attrocities, let them be brought to book. But if there is no evidence, then linking them with such is nothing but that Nigerians have fallen victims of gimmics. There are also some rumour mongers with hidden agendas in their evil minds who in one way or the other wants to spoil the name of some people whom they hate.

Let us find a lasting solution to our problems instead of throwing fales/unproven allegations to hitherto innocent personality.
