ZIMBABWE--THE late Senegalese feminist writer, Mariama Ba once said, in African tradition, a man marries not for himself only but for the whole clan brothers, aunties, sisters, grandmothers, uncles and grandfathers.

A Bulawayo man who hit the headlines last week after discovering hidden vibrators in the wardrobe proved Maria's assertions true.

He bowed to family pressure and chucked his wife out of their marital home.

Dumezweni Nyathi told B-Metro last week that he found a plethora of man made segxwal gratifying objects (vibrators) hidden in their wardrobe. He said it had been two years since they last consummated their union.

Nyathi who all along suspected that his wife was cheating on him said he breathed a sigh of relief when he discovered the vibrators and confronted his wife who confessed enjoying the artificial object's virility instead of his.

Even though he confessed having heartbreak, Nyathi said he had forgiven his wife saying at-least she was not seeing another man.

However, the Nyathi family could not have any of it. They weighed in and demanded that she pack her belongings and leave.

"NaMbusi was forced out of marriage by Nyathi's sisters. She went back to her people in Gweru on Wednesday last week," Nyathi's friend only identified as Marshal told B- Metro.

The Nyathis regarded the use of other gratifying means as utter disrespect of their brother's segxwal prowess.

Even though Nyathi initially volunteered the story to B-Metro, this time around, he refused to comment.

"I don't want to talk about this. You don't know how much pain I am going through right now," he said before hanging his phone.

Sibanda said the difference was the same.

"They (Nyathis) think I will be embarrassed by going back to my people but the question is what was I waiting for all along? Since I got married to Dumi, I have never experienced satisfaction. My vibrators served me better," she ranted.

She said it was sad that Nyathi's sisters exposed their brother instead of proffering to solve the problem.

"My husband and I had spoken about the issue and found a common solution but his family has taken a stand to send me away. I hope that is going to bring happiness in his life," she quipped.

Sibanda said she was happy staying with her people.

Nyathi's sister only identified as Amanda said as a family they were not going to accommodate a disrespectful daughter-in-law.

"How were we supposed to stay with her and let alone look at her when she does not see our brother as man enough? We resolved he was better off a single man and one day he will find a woman who is going to be satisfied with him," she said.

Nyathi and Sibanda had spent the past two years of their lives devoid of love making. .

He claimed every time he made moves to be intimate with hi wife, she gave varying excuses. Suspecting that Sibanda was getting segxwal satisfaction from somewhere, he hired private investigators who followed her for two weeks without success.

He then bumped onto hidden vibrators in the wardrobe and thereafter confronted his wife who confessed using them as gratifiers.
