yes that is good for her. this will serve as a deterrent to those who parade themselves as deacon. deaconess, mother, father, patron, evangelist in churches in Nigeria whom have turn christianity to something else. the Bible ´´says my people perish for lack of knowedge´´ it was the inability of the nurse to apply what she had been taught in the nursing school that made her to resort to irrelevant  prayer in order for people to put the blame of her incompetence to OUR MERCIFUL JEHOVAH GOD.

It's not about spirituality but professionalism. She was at work not at home or church.

She supposed to know that when it comes to health issues, western world doesnt care about prayers. Is medication first before anything. Too bad she looses her nusing license like this.

Sure, she should know the difference between her professional calling, ethics and her religious belief. If she wanted to be a faith-healer, she should go and open a shrine or a church, which is now big business.

Poster, we are still waiting for more info: Did the boy die? Were they able to revive him? Was there any Doctor in the hospital or on call? How many nurses were at the hospital at the time? How long was the woman at work before the situation? Was she burnt out due to hospital negligence to schedule enough nurses? Was there any "emergency program/procedure" in place? Did she make any type of contact with hospital authorities and EMS before resorting to prayers? If she did, did the doctors and emegency team arrive on time - otherwise she could also have been overwhelmed by the circumstances.

If the boy survived the ordeal, I say give her back her license because God answered the prayers, if otherwise, let God still be her fortress.

Prayer is a very personal thing and is no substitute for medical treatment.

After applying western civilisation method-ism,Faith in the Lord Jesus by prayers should have done the miracle.Unfortunately the child parent likes faith and believe.
MADAM do not worry, temptation from Satan the Devil loom around all believers.Jesus will away search  out a better solution to your present situations and a longer solution a future situations.

Luke 9:22-26

[22] And he said, "The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life."

[23] Then he said to them all: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. [24] For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. [25] What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit his very self? [26] If anyone is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels."

Ma'am, Jesus the greater physician will see you through, only do not regret what you did...

well as for me she deserved it cos there are things u call God for and there are  things u put in ur very best to get God's attention, in this case as a professional nurse the is always what to do to remedy situations like that. i think she was too careless to have left that child in that situation, in life there is always a place of FAITH and a place for WISDOM, if not y dont we run and stand in front of running cars so dat God will come and save us. u know u can't do that, that is y it is called wisdom u apply wisdom were it is suppose to b applied and apply faith were it is suppose to b applied. do not interchange it, the trouble that always follow it is not always too good. SHE WAS TOO WRONG TO DO THAT, at least administer something and pray that it works, than lifting her hands to God who has given wisdom to operate like him yet she seem not to understand. it is too bad  in fact not only sack she should b sent home

Prayer/faith without work is dead

You have said it brother!

But a man may say, You have faith and I have works; (But I say) let me see your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith  by my works. James 2:18

A UK based Nigerian nurse Omolayo Abayomi has lost her nursing licence, the 51years old panicked and chose to pray for  the emergency patient instead of treating the baby. According to DailyMail;

"Omolayo Abayomi 'panicked' when the child, who suffered from a chronic lung disease, turned blue and stopped breathing in his cot at home.
The 51-year-old called for divine intervention more than 20 times before the vulnerable boy's mother told her to 'shut up'.
'The nurse was constantly saying "Jesus help him" and waving her arms around"

What a horrible situation. Do you think the nurse deserves what she got or did the baby's parents, the court and the Nursing body go too far?

GOD HAS SOMETHING BETTER PLANED FOR HER. she did not deserve what happened.
             He looks after his children
