Hi Mr President, i think your enemies are succeeding now. They firstly put fears into you even before you were sworn in as an acting president. Now, it is evident that you are on that seat with the fears and without confidence. Another success record they have achieved now, is turning people who ones loved you against you by series of bomb blasts.
However, something i would suggest for you is to try achieve the number one promise you made during your campaign, leave it as a mark to remember you with and then leave that seat. Water don pass for garri for that nation before you assend that throne.

That`s correct....many people think like chickens here
My brother, lets attack the issue and not the people. I think what u and Dennis stand on isnt very cool. Calling people lunatics and chicken brained is not very gentle. In as much as some are going a little off the line, they are only airing their views due to anger bc the president didnt choose his words very well.

If a our president could make such a nonsense statements, I hope Boko Haram have never attacked any of his relative or even his wife, that is why Mr. President is making such statement, If Boko Haran can arrange more big attack straight to the presidential palace, the senators offices and residences, the house of representatives, and the office of the vice president, all the ministers, i hope they will have more affective words with action to carry out. Please let someone help me to tell Boko Haram to attack all the members of Nigerian governments in person, and leave all these innocent poor people to live their life. Our Government needs to be attacked directly before they will know the deep pain.  LET THIS COUNTRY BE DIVIDED !! THAT'S MY SUGGESTION.

IT IS REALLY INCREDIBLE THAT A SO CALLED PRESIDENT MUST OPEN UP MOUTH SO WIDE TELLING THE NATION TO CONTINUE LIVING WITH BOMBING, THIS IS THE WORST MASSAGE I COULD REMEMBER HEARING FROM A PRESIDENT OF A NATION,in a nutshell, he is telling the nation his incapability to combat the bombing sects named BOKO HARAM,what a man -

YOU ARE RIGHT...

I think this site is accommodating too much of lunatics than necessary. Imagine people talking to the president of a this great country as if they are talking to their house helps. I wonder what they would do in the face of suicide bombing if they were presidents which they would never become. They don't even have the literaly meaning of what Mr. President referred to as "living with a burden". Can you grant the request of BOKO HARAM (AMNESTY)? How many years did it take the almighty US to fight and get Bin Ladin? Whether you like it or not, it is a gradual process; this is democracy not military regime. When you talk about the president, remember that the NASS is there.

People who have been hurt, seen their families and friends killed, express a lot of emotion. Especially when they have trusted in their leader to protect them. He does not have the military experience to know what to do, and it is costing people their lives. The reason it took the U.S. so long to get Osama was because of poor leadership. Bush did not use the resources he had called the CIA and Navy Seals. It would have cost less and used less man power. The key to this is to go after the actual enemy and not the religion they follow. The process can be done swiftly if the right person is in power.

Simply resign and call fresh election - don't cling to power since you want to give victory to boko haram without a fight.

In his words Jonathan said that ''there was no reason for such an act to be carried out on a Christmas day''

In my words. This man is dross, scum bag and a total waste of vote. Mr Goodluck. We all regret our decision to support and vote you into office. The people of Nigeria had high hopes in you, but until now, even your comments can't hold water. Your incompetency is too obvious to ignore. You can't even afford a good press relation officer to help you put together words that can at least show solidarity to the many innocent Nigerians killed while only fufiling  their religious obligation.
With deep regrets and total disappointment I'll say, while a country like ours of diverse religious backgrounds hoped for a leader with courage and mental thoughness to deal with issues arising from extremist, we are instead stucked a CREEP in the name of president.
