Its nothing but just another phase of poverty .  grown ups sharing the same bed who are not direct siblings from the same womb will definitely hav an attraction for each other - no matter what the "stories" may sound like after the act .  In many cultures worldwide its not an aboimination for cousins to get married as husband and wife not to talk of mere sex.  I can't really see a big deal here.  Were they reach enough they could have avoided  temptation and ensuing embarrassment
