What such of nonsense is this? Then how much would the families of those killed by the boko haram be compensated? This country is heading to a doom. May God help us.

THOSE WHO WANT TO PROTEST SHOULD LOOK FIRST FOR THE OWNERS OF THE COMPANIES CHEATING LIFE OUT OF THE NIGERIAN MASSES.

Youths the FGN is not our enemy. The real enemies are those unseen hands in the cabal who have positioned themselves to perpetually reap us off. They are busy ochestrating riots and hoping that Mr. President would rescind his decision so that they can laugh and call him 'weak'. They never imagined this would happen. Its not a PDP or ACN or CPC matter. Its a decision that has been made purely for the purpose of getting our country back on track just like many others recently made. By the time we are back on track there will be enough for everyone's need and nothing for anyone's greed. We have no business with NLC demonstrations especially when NLC leadership has refused to read in-between the lines. With Subsidy Removal no cabal will see need to block the building of refineries. Nobody will traffic petrol illegally across our land borders and Nigeria's actual consumption will show naturally and can be catered for. Long Live Nigeria!!!

I am perticularly not happy the way  this poster always mislead poeple into wrong judgement when it comes to national issues. Most of his post is to incite people and not to see anything good about nigeria and this present government.Pals, you should be careful about this poster. If you want to get the real news always go to national dalies on line before coming here if not u ll be mislead. In my own opinion i think it is very insensitive on the part of the federal, police and state government to have compensated the family of the late leader of BH.There is no place in the world a terorist group are been paid, instead the reverse is  the  case here.I pray this kind of hansome reward will not generate more miscreant in the society,i totally did not support this, is absurb.Coming to deregulation of the downstream oil sector,i think is the best thing that ever happened to nigeria and nigerians for the whole of my adult age,it was a brilliant move by the president, kudos to him.As long as we continue to do the same thing we ll always get the same result, this is the first time for a very long time a different thing has be done in our beloved country and you should watch out for a different result. We ll all feel the pains now, yes! no true success comes without huge sacrifice. My dear pals be patient with this man Goodluck,he got good plans 4 nigerians i am convinced about that, the only problem is that the issue of subsidy removal was ill-timed,all the same let suffer it now than to mortgage the future and lives of our unborn children. My appreciation to the females in this forum, they make more reasonable contributions than most of the male counterpaths keep it up!

Boko haram have listed their problems to Fed. Govt and compensation is not one of them so what makes govt think they have achieve sth?.

President Jonathan promised Nigerians 20hrs power stability by the end of 2010 and a 24hrs by the end of 2012. He should swiftly work towards achieving that set goal and that will call in a large number of foreign investors. And their investments will be capable of consuming this boko haram jobless boys and get them busy. I think that will be a better lasting solution to this problem rather compensation and amnesty thing. How long will the government keep compensating people and giving amnesty. When it is quite clear that if you compensate one person or a sect at one time, another will come up for their own share of the compensation cake. How long and how many people will the government compensate where almost 70% of Nigerians have no jobs.

Please am appealling to those guys running the affairs of Nigeria government to start deliberating on how to reinstate our completely collapsed industries, rehabilitate some vital sectors (like power) that will enhance the life of those industries. That will go a long way to gradually keeping jobless boys causing trouble of the streets.

Uproot completely a problem and not just nip it on the bud

Without adequate security for life and property, no foreign investor will be foolish to come to Nigeria, let alone to invest.
