let face the truth here.

15% of the student are Igbos because they have lost concentration of reading while think how to escape from Boko Haram. so sone have go bak Igbo land while so no have time to read because they are not save over there, they think about life before the Exams.

12% of the student are from South South they face the same intimidation over there,

3% is from Yuroba, they can read and pass the exams but they too fare, Aboki no they kill the Yurobas, but because of the fare in them make then go concentrate to read and to write exams .

While the 70% na Aboki, they no want the exam sef, they dont care because they are rams, but if na to kill and suicide bombers they will pass and get 1000000%, but for education na mumuuuuuu and zeroooooooooooo.

For the 17th that pass the exams are..

7 Na yurobas.
5 na Igbos..
3 na South south...
2 na Aboki female why fall in love with an Igbo boy, so that when they go to house to make love after love igbo can teach her and encourage her to read well because once she pass the exam na god she will be over there in north and Igbo boy will use advantage of love to marry her so to get  money .

the governor and i was belly ached when we heard that only 17 out of 18000 passed waec and neco in gombe, what else do u ppe expected when ur emputy headed leadership was only to eat up and squander every peny in the governments  forgetting that education is very vital to any nation that ever think of surviving, nigerian system of education is waist and mostly that part called huasa northern nigeria, though history had it that huasa muslim/islam  had never taken education all that important

It is not their fault. How can they pass exams where the teachers place them on the sun for hours. In fact,  they should take their teachers, WAEC, NECO  and ministry of education to court for violation of their human rights and  unwarranted apathy, wickedness, unlawful seizure under the  sun of 120 degree,  and breach of examination contract.  I think WAEC, NECO, JAMB and After-JAMB exams should be abolished. Let universities admit student base on their GPA from class work. Ka Chineke mezie okwum
