nowayjose at 28-04-2012 07:26 PM (11 years ago) (m) Eric Oluigbo, a 34 years old Nigerian man was on Monday sentenced to death by the Federal High Court in Bernama, Malaysia after he was found guilty of drug trafficking. According to the court document, Judicial Commissioner Zaki Abdul Wahab sentenced Oluigbo after the prosecution had proved its case beyond reasonable doubt. Oluigbo, according to prosecutors, had distributed 22,159 grammes of cannabis at a traffic light in Napoh, near Bernama at about 6.45am on September 1, 2010. He was charged under Section 39 (B) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 which carries a mandatory death penalty upon conviction. ARE YOU PEOPLE HIGH ON DRUGS YOURSELF OR ARE YOU SOBERLY READING WHAT THIS IS STATING. DO YOU RECOGNIZE THE THE VERY PERVERSED PIVOT OF PRIMITIVE JUDICIARY SYSTEMS IS STILL RAMPANT IN THE WORLD. DO WE EVEN KNOW IF THE MALAYSIAN RESIDENTS INTENTIONALLY SET HIM UP KNOWING THAT HE WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT HE WAS GETTING HIMSELF INTO JUST FOR THEM TO GAIN CONTROL OF EVEN A PERCENTAGE OF WHAT WAS BROUGHT TO THEM? YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING AND NOW HE IS TO DIE FOR TRAFFICKING? WOW GOING TO JAIL IS DIFFERENT BUT TO BE SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR THIS IS NOT INSANE IT'S BRAIN KNUMBING. ONE WOULD HAVE TO BE A BLOODY FOOL TO HAVE AN ENTIRE COUNTRY'S JUDICIAL SYSTEM STILL IN THE STONE AGES (LITERALLY). THIS IS A FALLACY AND SHOULD BE THOROUGHLY LOOKED INTO. SOME OF THE COUNTRIES TOP CHEMISTS AND BIOLOGISTS WOULD SNICKER AT THE JUDICIAL ENTITIES INVOLVED IN PASSING SUCH JUDGEMENT WITHOUT EVEN SLIGHTLY VACILLATING OVER THE IDEOLOGY OF THE ENIGMATIC FOOLISHNESS. THIS HAS TO BE A JOKE AND A VERY EXPENSIVE ONE AT THAT! I'VE HEARD OF EMERGING COUNTRIES BUT THIS COUNTRY IS BEHAVING LIKE IT IS REVERSED! Posted: at 28-04-2012 07:26 PM (11 years ago) | Newbie | |

Dan_Fulani at 7-08-2012 08:17 PM (11 years ago) (m) Why wnt they learn frm d past... Tomorrow u will hear dat they av catch another persn. What a waste of life.
I have the same question as you, Ms. Lanudja. Why can't Nigerians learn from past stories of Nigerians traffickers executed for drug crimes?
They must know that the penalty for the crime is death, yet they engage in the crime. We are yet to find the answer.

Dan_Fulani at 7-08-2012 08:37 PM (11 years ago) (m) all this one na format, they will not kill the guy...........they are only trying to scare people away from drug trafficking. if you doubt me, pls download the guys pictures here and after two months time .....i will send you another of his current pictures. no be today........money will settle everything. we run things.......things don't run us. Are you sure of your info? Past stories and actions by Asian nations would prove you WRONG. It is not an empty threat.........they will execute this gentleman. Their laws clearly impose death for drug crimes. If they only have circumstancial evidence, he will be given life sentence. For example if someone is implicated due to a guilty trafficker's confession but he was not actually caught with drugs.

Dan_Fulani at 7-08-2012 08:58 PM (11 years ago) (m) THE ACCUSED IS A NIGERIAN! The last time I looked at my Nigerian passport, it said NIGERIA not Hausa, Fulani, Kanuri, Ibo, Yoruba, Ijaw or Bini. I know yours also said NIGERIA. So why are we so fixated or focused on the TRIBE?
It is a big shame that a lot people here spent lots of time trying to shame the tribe of the accused drug traffiker. His tribe does does not matter. In the report he is described as a NIGERIAN. The asian nation does not care about his tribe. Let us stop the holier than thou attitude of trying to shame other tribe anytime there is a story about crimes commited by nigerians overseas. There are criminals in every tribe. When a Nigerian is executed for a crime overseas, it is a tragedy for the whole nation NOT just for his family or tribe.
It is time for us to see this as a national problem and try to look for solution together. We must not let this be one of the issues that divides us.
