Cops in Philadelphia swooped after receiving a tip Padge Victoria Windslowe - known as the Black Madam - would be performing butt enhancement procedures at the bash.
The Black Madam, 42, is accused of injecting silicone into the behind of Claudia Aderotimi, 20, shortly before she died in February 2011. Claudia had flown to the US from her home in Hackney, East London, for the backstreet op.
But the Black Madam has so far not been charged more than a year on because a cause of death is yet to be determined.
Tests have failed to establish what the substance was that killed the Londoner. Whether the type of silicone used was the high quality grade used by cosmetic surgeons or cheaper industrial silicone will determine whether she could face a murder charge, police sources have said.
Cops said they obtained a warrant on Wednesday night after a 23-year-old woman allegedly nearly died following an op by the Black Madam - who described herself as a "gothic hip-hop artist" - earlier this year.
The woman was treated for pneumonia at Temple University Hospital within two days of the injection but began coughing up blood last week, cops said.
She went to Lankenau Medical Centre for seven days where she was treated for a pulmonary embolism.
Lt John Walker, who has been leading the case, said: "It's similar to the Aderotimi case. What allegedly happened is Padge Victoria injected her, hit a blood vessel, the substance entered her bloodstream, goes through and lands in her lungs."
Windslowe had needles, superglue, cotton balls, paper towels and a pink bag with a 20-ounce water bottle containing an unknown substance which it is believed she would inject during the party, Walker said.
He said five other people were in the house at the time of the arrest, but no injections had been administered.
Walker said: "We were not going to let it get that far. We knew she was going to be there and didn't want to let it get to a point where she was injecting people."
Walker said investigators were meeting today with officials from the Delaware County Medical Examiner's office and the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office to discuss the case involving Claudia's death.
Claudia allegedly paid £1,000 for the booty op last February in the hope of it boosting her showbiz career.
But extensive tests carried out by the coroner in Delaware County, near Philadelphia, have failed to establish the type of substance used which means Claudia's family are yet to get closure in the case.
Dr Frederic Hellman has now asked the FBI to get involved and their scientists are trying to find out what the killer substance was.
Dr Hellman said: "We want to be very sure before determining a cause of death. I have sent samples to the FBI to see if their laboratories can determine what was used."
