Cleanliness is next to godliness..say it bluntly and make sure he effects changes. If a man is dirty too bad for his home.

Offer to take regular showers with him,and if that doesn't work, order him some
cheap cologne, if that too doesn't work , look him straight in the eye and tell him
that he is a pig.

instead of saying, bros u r very dirty u need to clean up

she shud say something like, I dont like the state of this houx most of the time....like u said the guy is very lazy. A frn of mine in a similar  situation said the same to her bf and had the following action plans for them to follow. He responded well to it becuz they were fixing a prb in their houx not cuz sumthing wrong with him. What she did was...
-always kept the lid up n left it down when he needed it. after a while, he got so used to it up that if visitors kept it down he lifted it up
-given that cleanliness was THEIR responsibility, she asked that they got a cleaner once every two weeks do his share of the cleaning n she cleaned on the other days. of course HE had to pay for that (nothing gets a man to pay attention like money)
-left flushable toilet wipes, next to the toilet roll on the toilet, so whilst he is peeing, it is staring straight at him
- she bought laundry baskets in the kitchen n bedroom, so he just dumps them in there instead of the floor.
- other stuff, like leaving dishes around, she kept reminding him in a non-nagging way
- mouth odour, esp in the morning, she reminds him dat he has morning breath which sounds better that gosh u stink
- bath n shower- make it more romantic n ask that y'all shower together etc

In less than two years, her bf was transformed n they r better for it. he proposed last year n they r getting married this year. Inspiring change is not that difficult but it can b hellish if handled wrongly. To be honest, there r probly a lot of not so desirable feautures in our spouses but the key is how yu say what needs to b said. it is a key skill that will help influence ur children too when they get older n grow wings (or is it feathers). This issue is particular worth addressing at an early stage cuz there will b times (esp after child  birth) that u might need ur man to step up wen u cant.
