This has to deal with each individual level of adaptation in my opinion. There are different kinds of personalities, idealist conservatives.
Those ones threaded in the garments of cultural or traditional segmented values, they would settle for their own kinds, for reasons.

1. Comfort : law of attraction obeys the principles of magnetism, alike would always pull together :Physics - Photochemistry.
    it is more comfortable for some, not only Africans to settle for their kinds because of communication reasons IE. language barriers,
    Attitudes as formation or deformation of character which consequently emerges as societal feedback. People become these what
    they are, based on the environment they grew up.

2. Timming : some people are caught up in the spell of time, like most Africans has this rhythm of going to the USA at  early age of
    twenties, absolve their education, run back home after graduation, to meet up with the societal demands or what ever they might
    have promised their families before setting off. "Like getting married and setting up a new family" Many already missed out cos
    education is not just the certificate acquired but also experience gathered, which includes all social aspects as well.

3. Tradition: some will argue that tradition demand or triggers their actions as if they were robots, in other wards things that doesn't
    fall in line are seen as distractions or disaster. For the sake of decency, it would not be wise to share it in this forum because of
