Leaders of the All Progressives Party (APC) visited the Rivers State capital Port Harcourt today to meet with Governor Rotimi Amaechi in an attempt to persuade him to join their party.

The team was led by the APC national leader, Bola Tinubu, former CPC presidential candidate, Muhammad Buhari and Chief Bisi Akande. A tumultuous crowd welcomed the team to the Garden City and attended a a rally on the grounds of the government house in Port Harcourt.
