In Economics we know people would only exchange money for a commodity or service.
Some more brilliant people have found that a lot of people would also pay for the hope of a commodity or more money (gambling).
A lot of Nigerians are paying for "get rich quick (without having to work)" schemes. If they can't get it in church, they would, just as quickly, visit several juju men to get it.
It is believed that a pastor who can offer instant miracles can also make you get rich quick.
If you show us how quickly you can cure aids, we would pay anything to get ebola cure (even if it's just tap water).

In Nigeria "Brief Illness" is the greatest killer. It is even worse than ebola.
"Irreconcilable Difference" destroys more marriages than Port Harcourt, Lagos and Abuja big girls put together. 
I think our scientists should set up a research institute to demystify these phrases in order to save our lives, our hearts and our pockets from these dangerous phenomena.

I still think they should pass a law prohibiting public officers and their families from seeking medical attention, vacationing,resting, schooling etc. outside the country.
If they can not improve the standard of living in their country, then they should meet the same shabby treatment and incompetence they have left for the rest of the populace to manage.
