It was a visit for the "priviledged" and not for the "less priviledged" they did not allow Goodluck and others to see him maybe because they were classified among the "less priviledged".................or what do u think ?

May his soul rest in peace ! The deat of yesterday was official death, He died functionally since last year and that was when he really died.Thank God that at last we are out of this drama/dilema !! Death has proved its supremacy over his wife's antics and that of those political fools.Have a look at this interview i was priviledged to hav with him..............

Your excellence how are you?

I am beli beli better

Reporter: How are you feeling Mr. President?
Yar’Adua: I feel like I am still in Saudi Arabia though I am not sure where I am. Ask Turai, she will tell you how I am feeling.

Reporter: Why did you give interview to BBC instead of NTA?
Yar’Adua: My people cannot watch or listen to NTA due to NEPA. But with BBC, everyone will turn on their generators to watch and listen,  Who will burn their diesel to watch NTA? Even Goodluck will not do that.

Reporter: What about your 7 point agenda?
Yar’Adua: Forget about that! That was dead on arrival. It was even OBJ’s idea. I have streamlined that into only 1 agenda – ‘Hanging on to dear life’. This will work for every Nigerian. Very simple concept that I learned here in Saudi or Yemen !

Reporter: What are you going to do about Jos crisis?
Yar’Adua: Jos? Is that still part of Nigeria ? Wallahi, I didn’t remember.

Reporter: When are you coming back to Nigeria ?
Yar’Adua: Never! I am not coming back but don’t tell Turai or Andoakaa. Turai might order these housemaids to switch off my life support. Andoakaa might convince Nigerians that I can rule from heaven(?) and I am just tired of the whole thing.

Reporter: What message do you have for your daughters?
Yar’Adua: Marry only governors. Forget the Muttallab’s!

Reporter: What message do you have for Nigerians?
Yar’Adua: Hold on tight! You think the ride has been rough, it is going to get worse from here. I am glad that I am not going to be part of it. I am enjoying my stay here. My brother, please change that channel for me. I need to watch the next soccer game. Angolans are my favorite team. I just love them.

Reporter: Thank you Mr. President..
Yar’Adua: Oh me? I am still the President? Thank you! You better leave before Turai gets back here!

12945  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Wicked: Man sells vultures as chicken in Rivers on: 30-04-2010 11:19 AM

A 32-year-old man, Abraham Kalu, who allegedly sells vulture meat as chicken to unsuspecting members of the public has been arrested in Port Harcourt.
Nemesis caught up with the suspect at the Mile 3 Slaughter in Diobu area of the Rivers State capital where he was seen catching vultures and consequently arrested following a tip-off by some traders.

Checks by Daily Sun revealed that six vultures were found in his bag when he was arrested.
The suspect, who told policemen that he started the filthy trade three months ago, moved into Port Harcourt from Ohafia in neighbouring Abia State on completion of his apprenticeship under one Maxwell, who runs a similar business near the Army Barracks in Ohafia and Obinze in Imo State.

He said that he re-located to Port Harcourt because his former boss (Maxwell) had told him that there were more vultures there with the attendant potential of bigger catches and higher profit.
Kalu, who said he was an indigene of Ndioji in Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia State, shocked policemen at the Mile-3 Police Station when he narrated how he catches the vultures by rubbing snuff on fresh meat to make the carcass-eating ugly birds dizzy and too weak to fly away after eating the meat.

He said that thereafter, he would dress the slain vultures and inject a chemical into them to instantly clear their offensive peculiar odour. Although he initially told his interrogators that he sold the dressed vultures strictly to native doctors who use them for rituals, he could neither name such clients nor explain why he had to dress and inject the vultures with chemicals before selling them.
On how he had been able to evade arrest before now, the suspect said people believed him each time he sold the dummy that the vultures were for native doctors.

According to him, a dressed vulture goes for between N500 and N1,000 depending on size and location of the transaction. Police spokesperson in the State, Mrs. Rita Inoma-Abbey (SP), could not be reached for comments as at Press time. However, Police sources told Daily Sun that investigation was in progress.

12946  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: Why is it that many Nigerians Give up their Identity? on: 30-04-2010 08:20 AM
We are alking of culture here and most Nigerians lost their culture even without leaving the shores of the country. Lets start from the language :
How many of you here can confortably speak your native language without mixing it with english ?
We teach our children "oyibonism" right from their mothers womb and when a child speaks his/her native language in schools in Nigeria he/she is treated like an outcast or imbecile.
We should not complain because we still have a better generation, the genaration coming after us might be worst !!!

Nigeria and corruption. We are blaming the politicians when if we are given the opportunity, we will do worse than them .An airline staff who takes home #30,000 feels its too small when pple take care of their needs with #15,000 a month. Possily if he loose his job as a result of this issue ,He will understand what it means to be a job seeker. Greedy people !!

Then if she was pregnant for another man before he married her, why did he do so knowing wha he had vowew ? Dont mind these wolves in sheep clothings. He has hatched the plan of selling the child just for money from the begining.

Thanks to those great men of God. I pray that he recovers in full and come back to office for duty calls. But, praying for him is not a big task for those great men of God to do, it's the kind and quality of faith he has in God, that will work for him. Since, those men of God are christians and believes in our Lord Jesus Christ. Let's not forget that the president is a muslim. So, would he believe in their prayers???

muslims men of GOD visited him before them and they prays for him and GOD had answered their prayers and IS still answering , so the door is widely open for any individuals

Yea except the acting vice president !!!! lol  Cool Cool

I just hope our religious leaders has not turned to politicians............i mean lairs Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

:oi wonder all these religious visits . i hope they were able to tell him to do the right thing ? that is "follow the part of dignity" the muslim clerics claimed they were not invited, they just decided ti visit him and they were granted access when the acting vice president could not get such access after several visits. Were the christain clerics invited or they just chose to visit him too.............? Huh? Huh?
