@Cleverman the main reason why I am against a bloody revolution 4 9Ja  currently, is my strong believe that THERE'S A UBIQUITY OF EVIL IN HUMAN NATURE & ACTIONS WHICH INEVITABLY TURN RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATIONS INTO POLITICAL ORGANIZATION, LOVE 4 COUNTRY INTO IMPERIALISM & REVOLUTIONS INTO DICTATORSHIP. The level of political education & REAL consciousness in the country rite now is not enuf for the success of a real revolution.Go back in history, u'll discover that those who do not partake  in reap d fruits

Now that's a billion Naira question! I still think she's not done enough. I think her lackluster performance has crippled the anti-corruption crusade and eroded any gains we achieved under Ribadu. In all, I blame the late President, may he rest in peace. He & Aondooaka in their bid 2 protect folks like Ibori spoilt everything. And Farida was a co-conspirator.

Well, I guess God is the answer then. Because this is becoming bigger than human comprehension. For instance, how do we explain the paradox of abject poverty in the midst of plenty? God is sure the answer. But I doubt if the power elite will embrace Him anytime soonest. So if we want change, we must make it happen.

Well, looking back now & taking into consideration Dora's moves from the time I wrote my 1st comments here, it's clear that am right once again.hahahaha! After the candidate she campaigned 4 in the Anambra guber race, Soludo lost to Obi & his APGA, now the same woman has joined APGA. Wonders sure never cease in politics.

Once again, as always, I was all along & still right, when I said the process won't bring about any positive change, but only further parochial interest. I think I should start charging folks 4 my psychic abilities on politics.lol.

Well, after a thorough examination of the status of the anti-corruption crusade under her for the last few years, my answer is an emphatic NO!

4 long, we've blamed 9ja's woes on the leadership of the country. God knows I was an apostle of that gospel. However, now I've had a paradigm shift. The main problem with 9ja is the followers. More succinctly, their inability to demand good governance & int'l best practices in modern statecraft. This is what has emboldened the ruling class to persist with their excesses. Almost everytime in human history that the people come 2geda 2 ask 4 positive change in 1 voice, they get it.So the masses is to blame.
10  Forum / Religion / Re: our pastors dont preach salvation again rather it prosperity.why. on: 23-12-2010 11:54 PM
God has different messages 4 His people at different times. In times of economic hardship, as the one we are in now, it's only logical that the message is one of hope & a better life(prosperity) 4 those who love Him. Truth is you can't be preaching "repent or burn in hell fire" to a hungry man that's just received an eviction notice from his landlord, before coming to church. Such a one will say(in his heart)"big deal! Ain't I in hell already?" God wants us to prosper & ve good success. See Joshua 1:8.

this is what technology has caused.

Technology caused nothing. It's the nature of man that causes everything. Is technology from Heaven or outer space? No. Man creates them. Even when human society was at it's very rudimentary and primitive state, men still device ways to dominate and kill each other. So, don't blame modernization.

As long as Nukes will kill Terrorists, I am down with it.

ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE!!! OTHERWISE I CHALLENGE HER TO PROVE ME WRONG BY FIRST STEPPING UP PROBE AGAINST BABANGIDA AND OBASANJO AND REMOVE THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THE CONTRY FOR INCOMPETENCE.  who is fooling who? when shall we stop deceiving ourself? why should they leave the big fishes which are very obvious and statrt chassing the small fishes deep down the sea? Farida should make a public declaration for us, she should choose who she is serving, the the heartless criminals, the power monopolists (past and present corrupt leasers) or the country Nigeria and the people of Nigeria.....!!! MEND has resumed hostilities. This is due to their conviction about Yar'Adua's insincerity and lack of commitment to addressing the Niger Delta Crisis. Enough of Amnesty.

This is one issue I hate to be right about, but it seems I am. Mugabe has made the GNU unworkable. That country has returned to where it was. & African rulers, especially those from Southern Africa are doing nothing substantial about it.
[/quote

Compromise to western powers does no good to Africa, this is what we did for centuries, what did we get in returns? Abject poverty, wars, insecurity, the most beautiful place in the world is ridiculed to the worst place in the planet. It is time we start thinkings of our freedom, it surprises me that we are still looking for a messiah when we can all be messiahs. We all can make an impact in bringing change to Africa and being positive that "yes we can" achieve our goals without western "help".  What Mugabe did is what a healthy mind will understand as a call for Africa to have real independency despite the circumstances. Any impact that draws attention to forgotten injustice in Africa should not be seen as a mistake, although some innocent African citizens are paying the price (the Zimbabweans). But that is the sacrifice which every African must be ready to pay.

How long shall we continue to accept humanitarian "help", how long do we remain the last citizens of the world, I ask? I`m an African in a western country, I know who I am, and I know how I´m seen and regarded here, just because I am a native of a forgotten zone of the world, Africa. If Zimbabweans don't pay now for putting their own future in their own hand, they will pay much on the long run. Britain and America are wasting those innocent lives through sanctions and "say no to exploitation and get starved". Zimbabweans are suffering from challenging forgotten injustice that has been seen as a normalcy for a long time, but their voices are now heard.

My brother do not be deceived, Mugabe is not doing Zimbabwe any good.

Our legislatures have since shown us that the constitutional review is not for the interest of the mass but the elite few. the recent struggle between the Members of the House of Representative and the Senate over chairman and co-chairman indicates that the common man has lost his place on this constitutional review.

Thank you my brother. Well said.

Who else do u think that caused the niger delta crisis other the same people who have been monopolizing the political and ecomomic strong hold of this nation for more than to half a century. Those who have been miss informed that they are the real first class among the fitst class citizens of naija. Those who feel that since the political order of the day is "the winner takes it all", it will be unpardonnable to regard the so called minority tribes as also heir apparent to the most powerfull positions in the government or economy of this country. They are the same people that instigated hatred against any other tribes that are not one's tribe. It is the same people that did not recognize the slutter and butchery of about 2 million easterners (including calabars, effiks, ibos, etc) as genocide!!! They are the same people who have always forced themselves into power either by arms or electoral rigging. They are the people who do not count on our votes to go up into power. they are the same group of people who thought the citizenry the corrupt ways; only to turn around again and start pointing acusing fingers to the down troden masses for coruption!!!They are the people who as dealers, nay, leaders who marginalize in wealth distribution. Petro-dollars are stollen away to Swiss banks,or Saudi Arabia,or Brazil for private refinery projects...while the poor masses are suffering and smelling, nay, smilling. If there is so much injustices every where from the top it is not a surprise that there are agitatiors that take arms. For the intellectual benefit of those who were not informed, Niger delta crisis is not todays phenomenon. And that niger delta was a part of Biafra is the truth that will help the ignoramus among us to understand that it is the same question of marginalisation that made Gowon and Ojukwu to go to Ghana(Aburi) for accord. Ken Saro Wiwa was a great man. Because he continued from where Ojukwu stopped. He did not have his own original idea. Surely, there is a limit to human endurance. After much talk-talk and cry of suffering of the people that go into deal ears of the the same people who have the monopoly of power in Nigeria politics,...the lifting up of arms, we should admit is never the first option...it comes as the last option. whether in Biafra, or Ogoni, or OPC,or in Somalia, or in Iraq,or in Sudan, or in Democratic Republic of Congo, orany other part of the confilict world. IT IS THE INSENSITIVITY OF THE POWER MONOPOLISTS IN ASO ROCK THAT IS THE CAUSE OF IT ALL!  ....na di aboki Yar Adoua and his predecessors, and their foreign collaborators from Britain(amalgamator of the Nigeria geopgraphic entity for their admnistrative convenience), America, France(oil companies who have been exploiting both the oil and nigeria), Russian(who supplied amunitions to Gowon to deal with Biafras) Arab world(for secretely instigating hausa-fulanis towards deontocratising Nigeria thru  sharia saga and the likes). So, those who say it is the Niger delta people that caused their problem are advised to go and read more about Nigeria, it all shows how ignorant they are about the question of marginalization in Nigeria.

Word is bind!

I 'love' this hypocritical world. As far back as September 2008, I talked about the suffering in Haiti in this post, and the whole world was aware of it. Nobody did a damn thing until this Earthquake and the whole world is now acting all lovey-dovey. I guess it takes large scale disaster to get help...
