| The formula for sharing national cake has always been in favour of oil producing states. Their own leaders had let them down as much as FG for environmental degradation and failure of oil companies to compensate those whose land had been affected. FG has realised its obligation and has formed NNDC and is pouring money into the area to develop it. Years of neglect cannot be undone overnight. They have their own man as president and despite the amnesty, a few criminal elements are trying to topple GJ. They are demanding 100% forgetting that the land and waters of Nigeria belongs to no individual but FG. Nigeria is not the only country with oil, e.g., much of the oil in UK comes from Scotland and they are not demanding 100%. Saudi Arabia, Iran, Mexico, Kuwait, UAE and many other countries have oil but no one part is claiming that the oil belongs to it or making the type of demands being made by MEND. What percentage of the people can they claim to represent? Why blow up pipelines which in turn will cause more damage to the land. Kidnapping and killing of innocent people are criminal activities. If this is what MEND is about, then they are enemies of Nigeria with foreign sponsors and arms dealers. Why did they agree to amnesty? What peace cannot solve will be resolved by force. Nigeria armed forces should go after those criminals who think that killing innocent civilians is freedom fighting. They cannot defeat 9ja. They will fail. Admittedly, your area had been neglected because of corruption in the past administrations, both FG, state and Local governments. you are a very big fool, who told you there is any oil in the UK, for your information the UK imports 100% of its oil. dont try to confuse anybody, u are an illitrate from ur comments, you know nothing.
