Empathy can't just be given like a free ticket on get out of jail free because they've chosen to live their life for the public service so also are their welfare. The public must be fully informed and everyone will chip in their own little way by praying for her and the true Nigerians love of the family will surface on unabashed. Why should it be shrouded in secrecy in the first place as if Nigerians are wishing them bad......if they can't trust us then they don't deserve it none at all nor a shred of it as simple as that.
Running away from the situation won't resolve it nor each ethnic going their separate ways. It's unfortunate that we can see beyond our noses to see our differences and uniqueness as add-on to the cohesive force to built a united country to the envy of other nations. We must make a sacrifice and that's the ultimate price the Igbo people are paying for our dear country and sincerely we appreciate it, but it can be continuous and that's why immediate action must be taken to arrest it. It's a known fact that economy is bad and the event in Libya was unexpected but he should be happy to be home with his entire family if for nothing else......that's our problem as a Nigeria we never appreciate even the slightest gesture of kindness bestowed on us than to say..... what has she/he done that others can't do better. We can't count our chicken before it hatch, but the future of the country is bright and there's no doubt about that. There's still a lot of work that need to be done such as the roads, dilapidated health infrastructure, security need from top to bottom overhaul, power or electricity and finally transportation system. Not until all this are put in proper perspectives and treated with top priority it would all be a farce or a mirage.....God help us....!!!

As much as I don't agree with death penalty in any shape or form,but the death the boy went through was horrible and may his soul rest in perfect peace. I do believe that justice can be temper with mercy to let her be in jail for the rest of her natural life simply because of the other children. What she did was cruel and she deserve no compassion, but we can prove to be bigger than that as a society.
There's no reason whatsoever to deny anyone or the boy an admission if he/she qualifies regardless of his religion believes or views. The school has rules and regulation for each students admitted or for the student body to abide by. If the rules are violated that's another story, but denying him/her an admission based on his religion believes leaves much to be desire as to what might actually be going on in that school. This single act can be an anatema for a probing eye to look closely into all this so called private tertiary institutions what they're all about. The child would at the end of the day be admitted into the school that I can assured you or it would be a lightning rod for the ministry of education before another certificate are issued to establish another one of such.
What a pity with all this fellow human being doing to one another. It's sickening really, but rubbing salt to the injury was the release of the Bright form Police custody. Was he not responsible for truncating other fellow students life by pouring an acid upon her? Did he ever denied doing it or what was the reason for releasing him from custody than prosecuting him in the court of law, what were his parent doing to the other parent to ameliorate their suffering or were they not the reason the girl was scared for life by their son or what was the reason for his expulsion from the school. What was the school too doing for the family of the girl to help in relieve or were they chiding from their responsibility of fiduciary duty to their students should situation like this happens than to leave all to the family of the girl to bare it all alone and to seek other fellow citizens to help to mitigate the expenses. The family of the girl should request the service of an attorney to advice them accordingly as to what their legal rights are and pursue it vigorously so that each knows their responsibility according to the law.
