Chelsea are through to the final of the 2015 Capital One Cup after an extra time goal from Branislav Ivanovic saw them through with an aggregate score of 2-1 against Liverpool.

After and encounter at Anfield that ended in a 1-1 stalemate, Liverpool dominated most of the first half and created some decent chances but Courtois was up to the challenge and kept Chelsea in the match. In the second half, Chelsea really came into the match and controlled the pace of the game. The game went into extra time and in the 94th minute, Ivanovic scored what proved to be the winner, nodding the ball home after Oscar had delivered an inch perfect free kick into the box.

Chelsea would take on either Sheffield United of Tottenham Hotspurs in the final.
