Emmanuel Adebayor scored twice to put Tottenham ahead in the race for fourth place in the Premier League with a 4-1 win at Bolton.

Luka Modric put Spurs ahead in the first half with a spectacular half volley and, although Nigel Reo-Coker equalized in the 51st, Tottenham retaliated with three goals in 10 minutes.

Rafael van der Vaart restored the lead in the 60th and Adebayor made it 3-1 two minutes later before completing the scoring with a far-post finish from Aaron Lennon's cross.

It was Tottenham's second Premier League win at Bolton and its first since 1996.

Bolton midfielder Fabrice Muamba greeted fans and watched the game from the stands, less than seven weeks after his on-field cardiac arrest against Spurs.

Nice One Spurs. They Would Certainly Want To See Bayern Munich Win Come May 19.. Have Your Say Pals.
