Following story making rounds in the media and online entertainment blogs which was first reported by Osaremen Ehi James of Nigeriafilms.com on Saturday, April 21, 2011 that erstwhile Kennis Music superstar, Kelechukwu Ogbonna Orji generally known as Kelly Handsome, whooped and humiliated a journalist, the sweet voiced artiste has disassociate himself from the report been peddled by some social media and promised to deal with the sights or any other media that carries stories that are meant to tarnish his image.

In an exclusive interview with Weekend Flavour he said he is taking the case to court and condemns in straight terms all those peddling negative rumour about him.

The journalist who was reported to have written the story which went viral sometimes in May 2011 alleged that Kelly Handsome was seen begging a movie producer for a role in a movie.

The singer said there was no time he has granted an interview with the journalist let alone humiliating him.

‘I’m not surprised someone could pay to tarnish my name. I did no such thing, for God sake for the record; I hope NUJ does something about this as soon as possible because it is against the ethics of professional journalism.May God bless the press.’
